Overview
The foundation of a successful project is understanding the commitments, expectations, responsibilities, “whys” and risks/rewards for all parties, in all the stages/components of a construction project. The goal of this course series is to give you insider knowledge about how the construction industry really works, helping you and your design team “think like contractors and owners,” break out of industry silos, and navigate construction dynamics with confidence. This innovative course series is taught by a group of multi-disciplinary industry experts and includes the perspectives and experience of owners, constructors, and consultants. Instead of learning from a solo instructor with a limited perspective, this course series challenges you to see and understand industry issues from all points of view.
The six courses in this live, online series include:
- Project Delivery Methods (DBB, CM, DB, IPD, P3) – Know your Responsibilities
- Proposal Pursuit – RFQ & RFP Strategies for Success
- Managing CCDC Contracts for Project Success
- Supplementaries to CCDC Contracts
- CCDC 5A + 5B: Construction Management Keys to Success
- CCDC 14 & 15: Managing the Design Build
