Open to graduating students at the Université de Montréal, this award provides a travel grant for a student interested in studying French architecture.

Background
This award was established in 1966 as a legacy of André Francou, a French industrialist, to the RAIC. Francou stated that its purpose is to assist graduates of the School of Architecture at the University of Montreal in visiting France to study the characteristics of French architecture.
Eligibility
This award is given to a graduating student chosen by the faculty.
Amount
The annual award consists of a $2,000 scholarship, with $1,800 provided as an advance and the remaining $200 issued upon submission of a final report. The final report must be received by the RAIC Foundation within one year of the date of the initial advance.
